Before joining The Morning Group, Brian participated in a handful of campaigns and government work on the local, state, and national level. Most recently, he served as Executive Director for the New York State College Republicans, from 2018-2019, where he oversaw the communications, operations, and event planning for the organization.
Brian's involvement in an array of political opportunities has consisted of advising in state & local elections as a staffer, as well as interning in both New York State Assembly and Congressional District offices, where he learned the importance of facilitating constituent’s issues and concerns. Prior to public work, Brian worked at Cahill Strategies LLC, a New York government relations, advocacy, and communications firm that focused on education and construction legislation for the state and New York City. In this capacity, he helped the company’s CEO coordinate events and meetings between statewide and local officials and the company’s clients. In addition, Brian worked with Cahill’s Director of Communications to write blogs and articles on behalf of the firm regarding current events. In 2018, Brian began his fundraising career at his university's Department of College Advancement by helping to oversee the fundraising and outreach to alumni in order to further academic programs on campus.
Brian comes from Long Island, New York where he graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Public Administration.
