Angela Coats has been in public policy and politics for more than two decades.
She began her career on Capitol Hill working for members of both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate in various communications roles. She then transitioned to the executive branch and worked for Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and Lt. Governor Becky Skillman. During that time, she graduated from the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service, a program providing leadership training in government, politics and public service.
Angela joined The Morning Group in 2021, where she creates and manages fundraising strategies, and coordinates events both in Washington, D.C. and nationally for members of Congress, Senators, and federal candidates.
Angela is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She lives with her husband, Andrew and three children in McLean, Virginia.
